Short overview:
The Scorer#1 is a device to make and score bridge tournaments. It is based on the operating system windows 95,98,xp ( vista has yet not been tested). Last version is 2.0.47.
The scorer#1 works in both English
and German, based on the "Laws of Duplicate Contract Bridge" and additional
by sublaws of national organisations. This device aims at all kinds of
scoring methods ( as IMP, MP) as precsribed by LAW 78.
For "team of four" competitions
we have a separate device
(Scorer#2).
If national sublaws request a specific way of handling, they can be had
by options in the "configuration" part of the device ( such as sit-in-tables).
All results produced by the device and all data seen on the screen can be exported to an "excell" file. This interface opens the possibility to the user, to have proprietary devices, such as CP-systems or club-administration.
The main put-in device for scores
and additional data is the page "BOARD", shown on screen. By this and the
other pages all calculations resp. results can be chequed. The real
and the optical board are identical, which facilitates
inputting. Whenever data are put in, the systemoperates
at once all results and stores. Breakdown
of electrical supply or system breakdown will do no harm.
You can the
see MP grow line by line. There are two ways
: input of all game date, such as "N, 1 NT, made", where the system
calculates the score, or the input of only the scores written by the players.
The TD may export single files or the full set of data of the event for you to place in the internet. From there, this set is downloaded by the player.
The scorer#1 has a deal-generator.
The deals can be transferred to the boards and the players may lay them.
This is a comfortabel way to give the players all details to repeat the
play of a board at home after
event.
